The second half of our day after visiting the Pompeii ruins was making our way to be Amalfi coast which I was very excited for!

Arriving by ferry

We chose to base ourselves in Amalfi town (35mins away from Salerno and Positano in different directions by ferry).

The ferry we took was run by TravelMar – which is the company that run all public ferries for 8€ a trip.

Recommended by our accomodation we of course had pizza and a seafood pasta. But nothing could beat the pizza at Naples haha

Gelato at Bar Savoia

We had two gelato’s on our first day! Definitely try the region’s famous lemoncello. Other notable favs were chocolate fondant and praline 😍 I also love how all gelatos even in a cup come with a small cone – so cute.
